Personal: Hard working, honest, loyal, stern yet fair, Daniel Murphy takes his job as a security officer seriously. Thought a hard worker, Daniel knows when to step back and unwind when he has the time to.

Born into a blue collar, Roman Catholic family, Daniel was the second oldest of five children. While growing up, Daniel gained an interest in a wide range of subjects, including history, languages, world cultures and martial arts. When in high school, Daniel was on his school's lacrosse team, being named captain in his junior year. After high school, he got a lacrosse scholarship to Georgetown University, were he majored in Culture and Politics with a certificate in Muslim-Christian Understanding. Finishing his undergraduate studies in three years, Daniel picked up a masters degree in security/German and European studies. After graduating from Georgetown, Daniel interned with a security company in Washington, DC. After his internship, Daniel applied to the DSS, getting his acceptance letter two weeks later. After training, Daniel started working out of Washington, DC, being involved in fraud investigations and protecting VIPs. After his 30th birthday, Daniel's superiors informed him that he was being assigned to the American Embassy in Berlin. After arriving, Daniel quickly made his mark on team with his stern, but fair attitude. Outside of his job, Daniel spends time with his girlfriend Elisa, one of the assistant protocol officers at the embassy.
