Personal: Born into a middle class family in Indiana, Jason was the oldest of three boys. As he grew up, Jason proved to be a natural leader: always at the front, stern, but fair. This attitude helped Jason become the captain of both his school's football and water polo teams. While growing up, Jason learned that his dad and grandfather were both Marine veterans. This sparked Jason's interested and would motivated him to enter the Marines after high school. After graduating from high school, Jason went out to San Diego for boot camp and infantry training. After his infantry training, Jason went to Lackland Air Force Base for his MOS training. Upon graduation, Jason was sent to the American Embassy in London. While there, he obtained degrees in military history (AA and BA) and in security management (Government security focus). Upon completing these degrees, Jason was sent to the American Embassy in Berlin along with a promotion to Gunnery Sargent. After arriving, Jason was put in charge of the evening security watch for the embassy. Jason is currently single, mainly due to the nature of his job and how dedicated he is to the Marines under his command.
